Mexico’s Economic Future: Creating a Hub for Entrepreneurship & Innovation

Event Description

Join the University of Chicago's Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, in Mexico City, for a special evening highlighting the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Mexico and its impact on the future of the Mexican economy. 

Madhav Rajan, Dean of the Chicago Booth School of Business, will deliver a keynote address providing an update on the University's activities and priorities for the region. Rajan is expected to announce the new UChicagoGlobal Entrepreneurs Network (UChicago GEN) initiative. 

The evening will also feature Waverly Deutsch, ClinicalProfessor of Entrepreneurship at Chicago Booth, who will give a special presentation on the state of entrepreneurship and innovation in Mexico.Following her presentation, Professor Deutsch will moderate a special panel with local experts to discuss how entrepreneurship will be a key driver in theMexican economy and the areas of opportunity for investment in the region. 

The event will conclude with a networking reception and University alumni will have the opportunity to sign-up to join UChicago GEN.
