These workshops will provide information regarding the certification process for the State of Illinois Business Enterprise Program (BEP).  They are being held in partnership with theChicago MBDA Center Operated by Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council. The State of Illinois provides certifications for Women Owned Business Enterprises (WBEs),  Minority Owned Business Enterprises (MBEs),  and Person with Disability Owned Business Enterprises (PBEs).  The State has a streamlined recognition process with other MBE & WBE certifying entities, and also provides certification for Veteran and Service Disabled Veteran OwnedBusinesses. A representative from the Illinois Department of Human Services will be in attendance to speak about projected procurement opportunities within the department.
